20 new coronavirus cases in Gandaki Pradesh, tally hits 540

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has reached 540 in Gandaki Pradesh.

According to a press note issued by the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, the newly infected are 12 from Syangja and eight from Nawalparasi districts.

With this,  the number of people infected with the COVID-19 in the province has surged to 540.

The infected are 10 people including two females of Arjunchaupari rural municipality and two males of of Kaligandaki rural municipality.

Similarly, eight males aged 18 to 50 are from Baudikali rural municipality of Nawalparasi East, said Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, Spokesperson of COVID-19  Control and Prevention Program.

Alll the infected are from India returnees.
