3,286 children vaccinated against measles, rubella in Kailali



KAILALI: A total of 3,296 children are vaccinated against measles and rubella in Kailali rural municipality. The children aged between nine-month to five years were vaccinated.

The vaccination program obstructed after the COVID-19 outbreak completed with hard efforts adopting safety measures and social distancing.

Twelve health workers from the local health center managed the vaccination bid in the village.

Meanwhile, 4,733 children, who were newborn and aged below five years, were administered polio drops in the village. The local health centers have met around 85 percent of their total target in this campaign. RSS
