COVID-19 spreads to 38 districts in Nepal (with district-wise cases)



KATHMANDU: Three people have died of coronavirus infection in Nepal so far.

A 29-year-old woman from Sindhupalchowk, a 25-year-old man from Banke and a 41-year-old man from Gulmi have died of coronavirus.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 444 coronavirus cases have been confirmed so far. Today, 17 more people have been confirmed infected. So far, 45 people have recovered after treatment.

A total of 396 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals. The health condition of all the patients is normal, the ministry said.

Out of a total of 77 districts in Nepal, coronavirus infection has spread in 38 districts.

The highest number of infections has been confirmed in 99 people in Banke district of Nepal. One person has been killed. Similarly, the infection has been confirmed in 91 people in Parsa district.
