Online bookings for trains starts today in India

NEW DELHI: India’s railways has issued a list of 200 pairs of trains operating from June 1, that has put in operation trains such as Sampark Krantis, Durontos, Jan Shatabdis and Poorva Express.

The Railways had earlier said that the trains will be fully non-air conditioned. However, on Wednesday it said these will have both AC and non-AC classes as well as fully reserved coaches.

The general coaches will also have reserved seats for sitting, it said.

According to the Railways, seats will be provided to all passengers, and that the trains shall run from June 1 and booking has commenced from May 21.
