NA to procure medical supplies worth over Rs 2.25 billion from China

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army (NA) will be importing medical supplies worth over Rs 2.25 billion from China.

NA Spokesperson Bigyan Dev Pandey said that the national army on Sunday signed an agreement to procure medical supplies worth US$ 18,441,706.

The medical supplies weighing 342 tons will be brought on multiple stages with the first lot arriving within seven days.

With the government’s decision, NA Headquarters had written to China, India, South Korea, Singapore and Israel to procure medical supplies on a government to government deal.
