France reports 19, 718 deaths, 152, 894 infection cases



KATHMANDU: France has registered 19, 718 deaths after 395 died in a single day.

With 1,101 new cases, the total number of infection cases has surged to 152, 894 as of Monday morning.

Currently, 96, 598 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 5,744 are critical. Meanwhile, 36,578 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 170,370 and infecting 2,479,691 people as of Tuesday morning.
