Car-hit kills pedestrian in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: A car knocked down a pedestrian at Tarkeshwor Municipality-5, Budhkhu Bhanjyang of Tuesday.

According to police, the car, Ba 3 Cha 4064, mowed down a man whose identification is yet to be ascertained.

The man was seriously injured in the mishap and died while undergoing treatment in Trauma Center.

Police said they have arrested the driver and impounded the car.
