KATHMANDU: Eight Nepali nationals heading to Portugal illegally have been arrested in Romania.

Border Police of Romania held them while they were about to enter Siberia of Russia. According to the Romanian Police the arrested Nepalis, who appear 22 to 35 years old, were heading to Portugal via Siberia.

The arrested Nepalis, who have ‘temporary residential permit’ of Romania, have been kept at a refugee camp.
