EC instructs to suspend voter list collection



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has issued instructions to all district election offices to postpone the voter list collection.

The directive was issued saying that the work related to the voter list collection being carried out by the district election offices has been postponed till further notice.

Referring to the date set by the government for the mid-term election on April 30 and May 10, it has been asked to stop the voter list compilation.

The commission has asked for a postponement until further notice.
