PM Oli for easy access of education to all

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stressed the need to ensure easy access to higher education for all.

While addressing the 64th convocation ceremony of Tribhuvan University (TU) virtually today, Prime Minister Oli shared that education should be for enhancing the quality of life of individuals, the progress of the nation, and the holistic advancement of all.

He argued that education should be made available for all including poor and needy ones. He also opined to make the education compatible with the time. The Prime Minister said that the state will create an environment conducive to implement the students’ creative knowledge.

Vocational education was utmost to lead the nation towards prosperity, he said. On another note, Prime Minister Oli, also Chancellor of the University argued that the TU has the challenge to produce skilled human resources that could compete in the international market.

Prime Minister Oli also said that activities that pose a threat to the security of the country would not be acceptable. RSS
