Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 1,305 as 7 more die

KATHMANDU: A total of 7 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,305 as of Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,674 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 218,639 with fresh cases as of Saturday afternoon.

A total of 2,323 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 193,325 in the country.

Nepal currently has 24,009 active cases.

Likewise, 757 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
