Nepali national robbed in India

KATHMANDU:  A Nepali national has been robbed in the Indian State of Uttarakhand by offering him a drink laced with sedatives.

According to District Police Office, Kanchanpur, a 41-year-old Tirtha Bahadur Saru Magar of Surkhet was robbed of Rs Indian rupees 85,000.

Magar had gone to Rudragaya of Rishikesh in India for an employment two months ago was rescued by Nepali people in India.

The victim was brought up to Gadda Chauki. Police said they are making preparations to send him to his home in Surkhet.
