Police resort to firing to nab Indian national



KALAIYA:  Police have resorted to firing to arrest an Indian national in Bara district on Wednesday afternoon.

A squad of police deployed in Simraungadh municipality-9,  shot at Indian national Brijkishor Kushwaha in retaliation after he opened fire on the security personnel.

Kushwaha has received a bullet to his arm.

The security personnel shot at Kushwaha in retaliation after the latter tried to open fire during a security check, said Police Chief of Province 2, Dhiraj Pratap Singh.

The injured Kushwaha was taken to Kankali polyclinic for treatment. Meanwhile, police  have seized a pistol and four rounds of bullets from his possession, according to Singh.
