FNCCI publishes election schedule



KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has published the election schedule which is being held in Kathmandu from November 26.

According to the schedule, candidates have to file their nominations until 4 pm on November 23.

The Election Committee is scheduled to publish the first list of eligible representatives on November 17.

The time to lodge a complaint against the list of delegates who will be allowed to vote is from 11 am to 2 pm on November 18.

The committee has stated that the second list with amendments will be published on November 18 at 6 pm after investigating the allegations against the members who are allowed to vote.

The Election Committee has arranged the nomination filing of candidates and the registration of representatives via E-mail, in view of the difficult situation created by COVID-19.

The committee has stated that all the documents should be emailed to the secretariat of the federation by 5 pm on November 19.

Accordingly, the first list of candidates will be published on November 19 at 6 am and the second list will be published on November 20 at 11 am.
