Bagmati Province to continue free treatment against COVID-19

HETAUDA: Bagmati Province government has notified that all hospitals under the Province Government have been providing the COVID-19 treatment and care free of cost.

According to Prakash Dahal, the Press Coordinator of Chief Minister Dor Mani Poudel, despite the Federal government’s declaration that the COVID-19 patients have to arrange for the coronavirus test and treatment charge, all hospitals and isolation centers under the province government would keep on offering the free treatment against coronavirus pandemic.

Dahal informed that eight hospitals and the isolation centers set up under the Bagmati Province government have been offering the COVID-19 test free of cost.

“Hetauda Hospital, Makwanpur, Sindhuli District Hospital, Ramechhap District Hospital, Dhading District Hospital, Rasuwa District Hospital, Bhaktapur District Hospital, Nuwakot District Hospital and the isolation centers established in the hospital along with 15 more isolation centers established under local government government’s initiations have been providing free of cost treatment against coronavirus pandemic,” CM’s Press Coordinator Dahal stated.

He added that the labs established run by the province government have been carrying out the COVID-19 test free of cost.
