India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 87,000-mark

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has inched closer to 5. 5million in India as of Monday morning.

With 87,382 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,485,612

Currently, 1,005,053 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,392,650 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 87,000.

With 1,135 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 87,909, according to Worldometers.
