Gandaki Province sees 21 fresh cases of COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Gandaki Province has reported 21 fresh cases of coronavirus pandemic on Friday.

According to Dr. Binod Bindu Sharma, Director at the Health Directorate of Gandaki Province, 21 people tested positive for coronavirus during PCR tests carried out at Regional Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara.

Sharma informed that 18 people from Nawalparasi East and one each from Baglung, Morang and Chitwan have been infected with the COVID-19..

Among those infected, 15 are males and 6 females.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases in the province has reached 1,844.
