Locals urge government to make lockdown strict in Kailali



KAILALI: People have urged the government to tighten lockdown rules again on the backdrop of growing risk of coronavirus infection in the country.

People, who had earlier demanded to relax lockdown, are currently asking the government to impose stay-at-home order strictly.

It should be noted that main market areas in the municipality have remained closed for an indefinite period since Saturday at the request of Attariya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Godavari Municipality in Kailali.

The development follows the death of a 46-year-old COVID-19 infected male with the infection rate has already hitting nine in the municipality.

Mayor Harisingh Saud said that the market was shut at the request of two organizations.

Authorities concerned in Ghodaghodi Municipality are receiving calls from people’s level for making stricter the lockdown in the aftermath of detection of 32 positive cases in the Municipality.
