Two police officers at Kalimati tests positive for coronavirus



KATHMANDU: Two police officers stationed at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati, have tested positive for coronavirus.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shyam Gyawali confirmed the report saying that police personnel have been allowed to leave the circle premises now.

SSP Gyawali said the two officers have been tested positive after PCR tests.

According to him, around 200 police officers will now be sent to self-quarantine following PCR tests today afternoon.

Representatives from the Ministry of Health will collect swab samples of the police personnel in the circle, he said.
