COVID-19 infects five including nurses at Dhankuta Hospital



KATHMANDU: It has been revealed that a total of five people including three nurses have been infected at Dhankuta Hospital.

According to Dr Pujan Bishwokarma, chief of the hospital, a security guard, three nurses and a health assistant have been diagnosed with the novel virus.

“There are five infected people in our hospital. A security guard, three nurses and a health assistant have tested positive for Coronavirus,” said Bishwokarma.

The number of infection cases has climbed to 402 in Nepal with 27 new cases on Tuesday. Currently, 365 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 37 have returned home after recoverty.

Similarly, two people have died from the novel virus in Nepal so far.
