Two Nepalis arrested in USA after illegally entering from Mexico



YUMA:  Two Nepalis nationals have been detained in the United States (US) after they illegally entered the US from Mexico.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Yuma Station Border Patrol agents near County 17 1/2 and the Salinity canal, two 27-year-old Nepalis had illegally entered the United States.

The Nepalis reportedly traveled from Nepal through India, Thailand, Colombia, and Mexico before entering the United States illegally near Yuma.

CBP says the men were provided medical screenings by on-site medical providers and were cleared for transport. They are charged with immigration violations.

Nepalis have been charged with immigration violations.
