Spain reports 20,453 deaths, 198, 674 infection cases



KATHMANDU: Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 198, 674 after the United States of America (USA).

According to Worldometer, 4,258 people were infected and 410 died in a single day. A total of 20,453 people have died due to the novel virus as of Monday morning.

Currently, 100,864 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7,371 are critical.

Meanwhile, 77,357 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 164,930 and infecting 2,405, 325 people as of Monday morning.
