5th NVA national volleyball tournament postponed

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA) has postponed the 5th NVA National women’s and men’s volleyball tournament scheduled to be held in May.

The Association postponed the tournament owing to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The NVA said it would announce a new date for the tournament after life gets back to normal post-Corona Virus, said NVA general secretary Jitendra Bahadur Chand.

Eights men’s team and six women’s team were scheduled to take part in the competition, according to RSS.

“The entire sports calendar of the Association will have to be reviewed,” Chand said.
