3 held in connection with blast at ex-Minister Baskota’s house

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three individuals for their alleged involvement in detonating bombs on the premises of former Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota’s house based in Bhaktapur.

A team of Metropolitan Crime Police Division, Kathmandu arrested them on Thursday evening. SSP Sahakul Thapa said they will make the arrested public on Friday afternoon.

An unidentified gang of people on March 11 had detonated a powerful bomb on the premises of former Minister Gokul Prasad Baskota.

Police had arrested Devi Bahadur Gurung in connection with the explosion on the same day.
