NSC chief stresses on infrastructure development



POKHARA: Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC) Ramesh Kumar Silwal has said preparations for the 10th national sports competition have already been started.

The tournament is proposed to be held in Karnali state in 2079 BS.

Speaking at a press conference in Pokhara on Thursday, Silwal said that focus has been to develop international-level sports infrastructure targeting the 10th national sports competition.

He said that there is no paucity of infrastructure for the 9th national sports competition to be held next year in Pokhara.

According to him, tender notices have been announced to construct the sports infrastructures where such facilities are in poor condition.
