Constitutional Council recommends names in Constitutional Bodies (With List)



KATHMANDU: The government has recommended names for more than three dozen vacant posts in various constitutional bodies, it has been revealed.

The notice about the recommendation for fulfillment of various posts lying vacant in constitutional bodies has been sent to the federal parliament.

The meeting of the Constitutional Council held under the chairpersonship of Prime Minister KP Oli and attended by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana and Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has made the decision relating to the recommendation in 45 posts including the post of Chief of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority and National Human Rights Commission.

PM Oli had introduced an ordinance to help him take decision even in the absence of key members of the council including the Parliamentary leader of the main opposition in the Parliament, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Here goes the list of the people recommended for various posts in various constitutional bodies:
