KATHMANDU: Students and youth leaders of the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) held a protest rally at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu against the recommendation of dissolving the parliament.

Ranjit Tamang, Co-coordinator of the All Nepal Independent Students’ Union, said that nationwide protests have been organized against the Prime Minister’s ‘unconstitutional’ move.

Prime Minister KP Oli called a Cabinet meeting this morning and recommended the dissolution of the Parliament after the dispute in the ruling party reached its climax.

Likewise, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has already dissolved the House of Representatives.
