NC summons office-bearers meeting



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC), the second largest party in parliament, has convened a meeting of office-bearers and former office-bearers to discuss the government’s recommendation to dissolve parliament.

President Sher Bahadur Deuba has convened a meeting of former and current office-bearers at his residence at 1 pm.

The meeting will discuss the government’s recommendation to dissolve the parliament.

An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday morning had recommended before President Bidya Devi Bhandari to dissolve the Parliament.

PM Oli has reached the President’s Office with the recommendation.
