JHAPA: Two more people died of coronavirus infection in Jhapa district on Friday.

A 63-year-old man from Gauradaha-8 and a 75-year-old woman from Gaurahada-7 succumbed to the virus while receiving treatment at Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar, according to COVID-19 focal person of Health Office, Jhapa, Jiban Chamlagain said.

With this, a total of 92 people died of the coronavirus infection in the district.

Meanwhile, 29 more cases of coronavirus including 14 women of were recorded in the district in the latest update, thereby reaching 3,197 in total so far.
