Will make services of land revenue and survey offices techno-friendly: Minister Aryal

WALING: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal has said that the services provided by land revenue and survey offices would be made techno-friendly.

Inaugurating the Customs Office at Waling of Syangja today, Minister Aryal said, “Using new technology is necessary to maintain good governance. One can get easy and smooth service from customs office as the services provided by offices have been making their services service-recipient-friendly along with the use of new technology.”

There are 131 land revenue and survey offices so far in the country and these offices would be taken ahead as a model, she added.

The Minister opined that lack of capable human resources to use technology is challenging for us, adding that necessary training and orientation would be imparted to human resources in order to make service flow more effective.

Minister Aryal shared that service would be handed over to the local level by amending some laws as some laws are complex for work execution.
