COVID-19 infected octogenarian dies in Morang

MORANG: A man has died from COVID-19 in Morang district on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as an 88-year-old man of Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-5, Sunsari.

The octogenarian who tested positive for the virus on November 12 succumbed to the disease in the course of treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital in Budhiganga rural municipality at 5:50 am today, said Sunil Dev, the chief of the isolation ward.

The elderly had been suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, according to Sunil Dev.
