NEPSE registers double-digit growth



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) reported double-digit growth on Tuesday.

The NEPSE index increased by 13.22 points and reached 1,583.60 points as trading closed today.

Similarly, the Sensitive Index increased by 2.65 points to 313.55. A total of 5 million shares of 193 companies were traded today at Rs 1.27 billion.

Banking sub-index increased by 7.74 points, Trade 2.96, Hotel 19.27, Development Bank 22.19, Hydropower 27.72, Finance 8.6, Non-Life Insurance 55.76, Manufacturing 25.36, Other 11.4, Microfinance 16. 44, life insurance 78.12 and collective investment fund 0.11 points.
