Gandaki Province to treat COVID-19 patients for free

GANDAKI: The Gandaki Province government has decided to provide free treatment to COVID-19 patients even though the central government has shied away from its responsibilities.

Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung stated that the infected people are being treated for free at 38 isolations in the province, adding it will continue.

Stating that ICU beds are being set up in all the districts, he said that they are responsible for the health of the citizens.

The province government has managed ICUs in all the districts except in Lamjung, Syangja and Nawalpur so far.
