Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 765 with eight new fatalities



KATHMANDU: A total of eight people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 765 as of Tuesday afternoon with the new deaths.

Meanwhile, Nepal has recorded as many as 3,093 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, with the recent data, the total number of cases reached 139,129 in the country as of Tuesday afternoon.

According to Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, 2,108 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 96,609 in the country.

Nepal currently has 41,775 active cases, he said.
