Murder-accused lands in police net after 5 months



POKHARA: Police have arrested a man who was on the run after taking the life of his distant uncle from Lamjung district.

Acing on a tip-off, a team of Kaski Police, arrested 46-year-old Indra Bahadur Tamang of Sunkoshi rural municipality-5, Okhaldhunga, who was currently staying at Sotipasal, Lamjung.

Indra Bahadur had been absconding after killing his 55-year-old uncle Tanka Bahadur Tamang of Sunkoshi rural municipality-5 on May 3.

The victim had been working as a labor in Majuwa Bisauna Bijayapur Kot in Pokhara Metrolitan Cit-20.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the assailant into custody.
