Man held with firecrackers worth over Rs 8 mln



MORANG: Morang Police has arrested a man on the charge of hoarding a large cache of firecrackers in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from District Police Office, Morang raided the house of Dilip Kumar Sahani at Katahari rural municipality-4 and seized a large amount of firecrackers and smuggled goods.

According to SP Santosh Khadka, the chief of DPO, Morang, firecrackers worth over Rs 8 million were seized during the raid on Monday.
