Woman in Jhapa gives birth to triplets



JHAPA: A woman from Mechinagar-9, Jhapa has given birth to triplets.

Nirmal Bista Rijal has given birth to two sons and a daughter at the Manmohan Hospital in Birtamod on Sunday, said DR Kadaria, a member of the board of directors of Manmohan Hospital.

Nirmala underwent an operation at 35 weeks. Normally, a child is born in 36 weeks.

All the three children born on Sunday afternoon and their mother are in good health, said Amardeep Yadav, an anesthesia assistant at the Manmohan Hospital.

The two sons weigh 1900 grams per kg and the daughter weighs 1600 grams.
