IPL 2020: Will Sandeep find his place in playing XI against Punjab?



KATHMANDU: Delhi Capitals is taking on Kings XI Punjab in the ongoing Indian Premier League Cricket (IPL) in Dubai on Sunday.

The official kickoff time has been fixed at 7:45 pm.

Delhi Capitals, comprising Nepali cricket player Sandeep Lamichhane and Kings XI Punjab, are playing their first match of the season.

Both teams will be looking for a flying start to the season by winning the match. Delhi is seen as a contender for the IPL title this season. Whether Sandeep will make it to the playing XI in Delhi’s first game is a matter of concern for Nepalis worldwide.

According to Cricinfo, it is likely that Sandeep will be included in the playing XI. It has picked Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan Shimron Hetmyer, Shreyas Iyer (Caption), Rishabh Pant (Wicketkeeper), Alex Carey/Marcus Stoinis/Keemo Paul, Axar Patel, R Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Sandeep Lamichhane and Ishant Sharma as likely XIs.
