Nepali man receives coronavirus vaccine in Russia



KATHMANDU: A sexagenarian man has become the first Nepali to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

Dr. Mahesh Shrestha, 61, living in Russia, got an opportunity to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Dr. Shrestha, currently working in Moscow, was vaccinated on Saturday, according to the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).

Shrestha, who hails from Salyan, was chosen by the Russian government for vaccination through a lucky draw held online.
