India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 86,000-mark

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has inched closer to 5.4 million in India as of Sunday morning.

With 92,755 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,398,230.

Currently, 1,011,732 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,299,724 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 86,000.

With 1,149 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 86,774, according to Worldometers.
