Govt to bear medical expense of COVID-19 patients at private hospitals

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to bear the treatment expense of COVID-19 patients at private hospitals.

A Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Thursday decided to that effect, said a minister, adding that the decision was taken as government hospitals are likely to be overcrowded due to a rapid surge in cases.
