Goods-laden trucks stopped at Naagdhunga after prohibitory order enforced



KATHMANDU: Goods-laden trucks have been stopped from entering Kathmandu Valley through Naagdhunga checkpoints after a prohibitory order enforced in the Valley to stem the spread of the coronavirus.

Only vehicles carrying food, vegetables, medicine, fuel and other essential items have been allowed to enter after a prohibitory order from Wednesday midnight. It has created a long trffic gridlock.

DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, said that vehicles other than the essential ones were stopped
