Cyclone Amphan to cause rain for next three days



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division says rainfall is likely throughout the country for the next three days due to the impact of cyclone Amphan developed from the Bay of Bengal.

The cyclone is being developed into a super-cyclonic storm, according to the Division.

It said that the influence of the cyclone will trigger rains at various parts of Nepal from Wednesday.

Likewise, light to moderate rainfall is also likely to occur at some high hilly lands and the possibility of a heavy snowfall has been predicted at a few places.

Meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar said that Nepal will witness the influence of Amphan from Wednesday.
