KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has asked the government to immediately rescue and repatriate Nepalis who are currently stranded in foreign countries owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

RPP, issuing a statement on Sunday, urged the government to bring back its citizens stranded abroad after being ousted from their jobs.

The party has also suggested the government to let the people waiting at the Nepal-India border points enter the country by conducting health checkups.

RPP has also urged the government to support the workers and other people who have left the Kathmandu Valley on foot after losing their jobs due to the lockdown.

Likewise, the party has asked the government to form an all-party mechanism to combat the coronavirus spread in the country.
