SALYAN: One old man died on Sunday after choking on a meat bone.

A 69-year-old man Devi Lal Kami from Sharadha Municipality-2 of Salyan district died after he choked on a bone of a mutton meat on Sunday morning.

He had gone to one Balaram Kamar, a witch doctor, for traditional treatment.

As a traditional belief, people consume goat meat to get rid of evil.

He was then taken to a local hospital where he breathed his last.
