COVID-19: Kathmandu Metropolis begins testing foreign returnees



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started COVID-19 tests on foreign returnee of the metropolis.

KMC on Sunday is carrying out Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs) on foreign returnees currently living in wards 12, 13, 14, 16 and 26.

Mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya said that they opted for the tests as locals have been frightened with the foreign returnees.

Nepal has currently 29 active COVID-19 cases.
