5 detained in relief materials plunder allegation

BIRGUNJ: Nepal Police has arrested five people from Parsa on relief materials loot allegation.

Nepal Police have taken in detention for plundering relief materials meant to be distributed in Pachrukhi Tol, Parsa.

The arrested are Shayam Kumar Sharma 28, Samsul Hawari 12, Chandra Kishor Shah 22, Chandrika Patel 40 and Darshan Raybhar 55 of Parsa Gadhimai 5 Pachrukhi Tol.

According to Police sources, the arrested had assaulted the people involved in distributing the relief materials to the underprivileged community of their locality and looted the materials.

The joint police force from Area Police Office Eaktanga and Paterwa Sugauli detained the ones involved in the loot.

Parsa Police informed that further investigation was undergoing on them.
