12 more succumb to coronavirus taking Nepal’s death toll to 1,777



KATHMANDU: As many as 12 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,777 as of Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 710 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 253,184 in the country as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 8,840 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 1,175 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 242,567 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
