America’s COVID-19 cases cross 17.8 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 17,878,225 in the United States of America after 244,552 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 7,181,476 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 10,375,969 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 320,780 with 2,729 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,680,192 and infected 75,977,389 globally until the filing of this news.
