India’s Foreign Secretary Shringla to visit Nepal on Nov 26-27

Preparation underway for Foreign Minister-level visit



KATHMANDU: India’s Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla is arriving on a two-day official visit to Nepal on November 26-27.

Foreign Secretary Shringla is arriving in Nepal following the Nepal visits by Indian Chief of Army Staff Manoj Mukund Naravane and Chief of the Research and Analysis Wing, the foreign intelligence agency of India, Samant Kumar Goel.

Shringla’s visit is aimed at further improving the bilateral ties between Nepal and India.

This will be Shringla’s first Nepal visit following his appointment to the Secretary of India’s Ministry of External Affairs.

It is learned that Shringla will pay visits to his Nepali counterpart Bharat Paudyal, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali, Prime Minister KP Oli, and President Bidya Bhandari during his visit.

According to a source, preparations are being made for a Foreign Minister-level visit following the conclusion of the visit by Shringla.
